Berachah Optimum Yield Farm Ltd, an integral subsidiary of PE GOLDLAND INDUSTRIES LTD in charge of the TGIP Project. Berachah is tasked with managing and executing the agricultural farm projects under the company’s expansive vision for sustainable development. Established in 2013 and registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria, Berachah Farms combines innovation with tradition to drive agricultural excellence in the Niger Delta Region.
Berachah Farms operates currently on over 95 hectares of its 250-hectare arable, loam, clay, marshland and riverside swampland with a vision of becoming one of the largest farms in Nigeria, with multi-pronged farming operations. Berachah Farms has impacted the livelihoods of the neighboring communities of the Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area in the Niger Delta Region, employing over 70 local people since inception, including women and youths, in various roles, and providing agricultural training to them.
Providing the freshest and most nutritious farm products under the most professional, responsible, and sustainable conditions to help families in the Niger Delta Region, Nigeria, and Africa live happier and healthier lives.
To be a household name for the production and supply of whole foods in the Niger Delta Region and the entire Nigeria, and to become a major exporter of the highest quality agricultural products in Africa and globally.
Berachah aims to expand poultry production to meet the growing demand of Poultry products (meat and eggs) in the Niger Delta region.
Our expansion will include setting up a full mechanized integrated poultry, a hatchery and a feed plant. We will also operate extension services in the farm to provide chicks, feed ration, medication, and technical assistance to smaller farmers in the Region.
The 4 surrounding states with an estimated population of over 25 million people at present have less than 5 hatcheries. Day-old chicks, eggs and chicken meat come principally from the southwest. Berachah Farms is stepping into this space, to give solution to this food gap.
Introducing ruminants, especially cows in commercial quantities, has raised the profile of Berachah Farms. Major chain stores, including an abattoir ready to buy several heads of cattle daily for their Port Harcourt market, are among our off-takers. Berachah currently stocks more than 100 beef cows, including over 40 breeding stock. We are expanding our operations beyond beef production to include dairy farming, with plans to introduce high-yield dairy cows for fresh milk production and processing. This expansion will allow us to produce premium dairy products while maintaining the highest quality standards.
We are continuing to upgrade our livestock facilities until we reach full automation for commercial livestock production. At Berachah Cattle Village, nestled in the heart of nature, we are dedicated to raising cattle using only the finest quality grass, ensuring that every animal thrives in a pristine and natural environment. Our approach prioritizes the health and well-being of not just our cattle but also of families across Nigeria and Africa.
With increased fruiting of our prolific trees, oil production was being under-optimized due to the low capacity and efficiency of our local mill therefore Berachah Farms contracted Finnic Nigeria limited Abuja to Fabricate and Install a Semi-Automated 1-Ton/Day Mill in July 2023. Berachah Farms now processes special Palm Oil with a minimum FFA percentage which qualifies for both local and export grading.
